outside the Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park

Are you... ?

...tired of watching baby whales die in Stanley Park?

......frustrated with the Aquarium's power over the Park Board?

.........ready to hold a protest banner and sign a petition to stop the cruelty?

Join us at the Rally for the Whales at Noon on Sunday Nov. 13th.

PLEASE...let us know you are coming and if you need a ride to the Aquarium !

- contact our Volunteer Coordinator

Ericka Ceballos saseris@shaw.ca Tel 604-515-8202

SLEEP-OVER WITH THE WHALES

In protest, No Whales In Captivity volunteer Rob Light will dress up as a beluga whale and be put in Whale Jail for 28 hours !!! Bobbie Beluga will be placed on display outside the Aquarium starting at 10 am on Saturday, Nov. 12th....... to 2 pm on Sunday, Nov. 13th, when the rally ends.

HELPERS NEEDED: If you can help take care of Bobbie Beluga while he is in captivity (especially during the long cold Saturday night!),

please contact Ericka, our Volunteer Coordinator.

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring friends, family and children.

Make sure everyone (including Fido) is bundled up because it gets cold - and it might rain, too!

We encourage you to bring your own message signs and banners.

But don't worry if you don't bring anything - just come!

There is a concession stand outside the Aquarium selling concession stand food.

We suggest you bring your own hot drinks and maybe even share some cookies with other volunteers.

If you plan to feed Bobbie Beluga in Whale Jail, please make sure it's all vegan food.

Although it is serious business to protest against cruelty to animals, we hope to have some fun, too!

See you at the Rally!
